About us
Who We Are
We support Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander individuals, families and communities who are participants of the NDIS (National Disabilities Insurance Scheme) to secure the best possible future outcomes.
We value the rights of our people to make their own informed choices regarding services that they purchase. We want to be able to confidently promote mainstream providers as culturally safe for our people. Our services include training, workshops, Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and policy development for NDIS providers that are willing and passionate around working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Our approach
Our Mission
To support our people accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services to achieve the best possible health, social and emotional well-being outcomes. We are committed to a tailored and holistic approach to our practice, valuing self-determination, cultural safety, and integrity. We listen to our community members, learn from their voice, and implement their advice into our practice. We advocate strongly for systemic change to ensure that the NDIS service system adapts to the needs of our communities.
Our Vision
Most importantly, we will always stand by our people as they navigate the NDIS, to clear any barriers in their pathway, and improve relationships with the primary health sector. We are passionate about eradicating systemic mistrust and triggering systemic trust building, to strengthen our mob’s confidence to access all services. In addition, we will support our people to achieve brighter, healthier futures for themselves, their families, and communities.
