Joseph D’Angelo
I am a proud Wollithiga man of the Yorta Yorta Nations, I am the youngest son of Aunty Minnie Atkinson, who was born and raised on the Cummragunja mission. My ancient culture is paramount to me as it has blessed me with resilience and self-determination. With my cultural in hand, I have always known who I am, so I have always known where I am going. I have travelled across many tribal and semi-tribal Aboriginal Nations in Australia to improve my awareness and gather cultural knowledge. I have suffered the loss of many family members due to government initiatives, so I have great insight into spiritual suffering. My ancestors guided me toward the gathering of cultural wisdom journey, and I have learnt to safely live a traditional cultural life in a contemporary society. I am passionate about men’s healing and supporting our future generations to lead the next generations. I am proud to be the primary lead around our men’s business and committed to bringing cultural healing and traditional practices to our people’s lives.
